What is the story behind Algonix?
Algonix is the result of two decades of biomedical and engineering studies and is the most advanced technology available for providing pain therapy and injury trauma rehabilitation. This transcutaneous electrotherapy system is based on cybernetic principles and state of the art Artificial Intelligence using microcurrents with sophisticated biofeedback.
How does Algonix work?
Algonix uses a multi-phase, Digital Pulse Code Modulation Synthesis to obtain an accurate measurement of bio-impedance in the body. Furthermore, using a computerized Artificial Intelligence-guided feedback system, the Algonix system communicates with the tissues and the nervous system. Through a complex analysis, the energy-deficient areas are identified and their natural physiological balance restored.
What are the "electrical processes" of the body Algonix refers to?
The human body is an electrical being and the health of it depends on the energy currents that run through the body. When the body suffers from a trauma, (bone break, sprain, fatigue etc.), it protects itself in some form for healing purposes, e.g. (inflammation, swelling, spasm etc.)
During a trauma, the body's normally free flowing currents will circumvent the area of injury and travel around it. This occurs because electrical current always takes the path of least resistance. As a result, the flow of electricity in the traumatized area is significantly reduced or non-existent.
What is actually happening at the cellular level?
In order to return to a homeostatic condition the body must regenerate and heal itself. This process begins within the body at the cellular level. The injured cells need increased oxygen, protein synthesis, ion exchange and adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The polarity of the cells must be re-balanced, waste and toxins must be eliminated quickly and the absorption of nutrients and reduction of microbes is essential.
Algonix stimulates the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which stores cellular energy and allows a cell to function. This in turn triggers the body's natural biochemical healing process.
This process allows intracellular fluids to be restored, electrolyte levels to be replenished and allows the absorption of nutrients. The stimulation of intracellular calcium further strengthens cellular balance and healing. Amino acid uptake is increased, as well as protein synthesis, which assists in tissue repair.
What are examples of natural electrical currents Algonix recognizes?
Electrical currents are measured often by means of electrical activities in the skin (EDR), the brain (EEG), the heart (EKG), and the muscles (EMG). The Algonix technology works hand in hand with these currents. This technology recognizes the body as a self-healing organism and supports its many naturally occurring functions.
Could you explain more about the Aritificial Intelligence of Algonix?
The computer software of Algonix consists of Artificial Intelligence, (AI), calculation algorithms, a feature that allows the selected program to learn from the condition it is reading and thus to adapt to each client.
This means that each Algonix program changes after a few seconds of treatment by adjusting to the characteristics of the particular pathology so as to provide a corrective response. Any of the generic programs can treat any condition of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular system. Algonix is utilized worldwide to facilitate and promote healing, regenerate epithelial tissue, and rejuvenate muscle tissue.
How does Algonix physically interact with the body?
Algonix treatments involve hand held probes. The hand held probes used during treatment can be used according to specific needs:
· trigger points
· motor points
· tendon insertion points
· acute muscle spasms
